Cheng Pei Pei had the title of "wu xia screen queen". She accepted the Zhejiang Satellite Television program I AM NOT A STAR interview. She recalled that at the peak of her career she got married, retired and lived a difficult life in the U.S. for 20 years. She had 3 daughters and 1 son, was pregnant 8 times and had 4 miscarriages.
