Jackie Chan promoted the film CZ12 (SUP YI SUN CHIU) in Beijing. Jackie Chan pointed out that he considered Gong Li and Michelle Yeoh (Yeung Chi King) for the "Dai Soh" character in the film, but in order to bring more surprise, he asked his retired film star wife Joan Lin (Lam Fung Giu) to guest star.
