Last night fresh out of the oven Best Actor Andy Lau Tak Wa and Best Director Ann Hui On Wa attended an event.  Wa Jai has known the boss of the company for years.  Every time he performed a concert he would have a lot of very Chinese ideas from the owner.  Thus Wa Jai yesterday attended in support.  Has he celebrated since he won Best Actor?  Wa Jai only said "No!" and went to the event.

Hui On Wa said that today she will head to Beijing for a film festival.  As for Derek Yee Tung Sing's comment that this year's Hong Kong Film Award was too sentimental and lacked professionalism, Ann said that sometimes it has been.  She felt that what Yee Tung Sing referred to was very widespread and not just in one category.  She said, "Everyone help Hong Kong film and would add some sentimental points.  I too am a beneficiary."  She agreed with Yee Tung Sing that a review was needed.  After examining it the event would improve, only then would the Hong Kong Film Award be better and better.  Has she discussed this with the actors?  "It just happened a few days ago, I haven't seen other actors.  (Would you meet with them to discuss it?)  I wouldn't discuss it, I would only share my opinions.  (Who was your pick of Best Actor?)  I of course picked Lau Tak Wa, of course (Lau) Ching Wan did very well too.  (Do you plan to work with Wa Jai again?)  Not yet."
