[2011.10.21] TI LUNG URGES HONG KONG FILM TO BE MORE POSITIVE

Ti Lung yesterday attended the Performing Artist Guild's monthly tea.  He said that he has worked with some actors on several movies, and known some show business friends for several decades like Ha Chun Chau and Ting Yu.  Thus they cherished the chance to get together every month.  He would try to make time to attend and even volunteer with Guild members.

Later Brother Lung will work on a Qing costume role in Lanzhou.  Speaking of Hong Kong film not being what it used to be and many actors went to act in the Mainland, Brother Lung said that recently he saw a great Indian film 3 IDIOTS and urged Hong Kong film to pick up the pace and catch up.  He said, "Others are winning with quality, culture and inspiration.  I hope Hong Kong colleagues would not make too many movies about the mob or negative human nature and more more movies about human kindness and excellence."
