courtesy of takungpao.comTHE GREAT MAGICIAN (DAI MOR SHOOK SI)'s first trailer was 45 seconds long. In it Tony Leung Chiu Wai, Lau Ching Wan and Zhou Xun appeared and looked very unique. Leung Chiu Wai's magician look and Lau Ching Wan's warlord look were the most stylish, leaving only just a
glimpse of Zhou Xun in the trailer and making her even more mysterious with her earlier "ninja" poster appearance.
The trailer had a series of action sequence, the Beiyang army, explosions and million dollar tank scenes. Leung Chiu Wai's enraged gun firing scene would definitely have the audience under his spell. Ching Wan's addition to the cast to Derek Yee Tung Sing was making the good even better. Speaking of how this collaboration began, Ching Wan said, "In the beginning Director Yee came to my home to talk about a new project. As soon as I heard it was a collaboration with Leung Chiu Wai, I volunteered! Since the 2000 THE LONGEST NITE (UM FA) we haven't worked together for a long time. I really wanted to work with him again."
