SHAOLIN (SUN SIU LUM JI) will open in Hong Kong on January 27. Two nights ago actors Andy Lau Tak Wa, Jackie Chan, Nicholas Tse Ting Fung, Fan Bingbing, Wu Jing, Yu Shaoqun and others in the company of director Benny Chan Muk Sing and Emperor boss Albert Yeung Sau Sing attended the Beijing global premiere. Although the climate was chilling, it was not enough to stop Wa Jai and Ting Fung's fans who braved the cold to cheer on their idols.

Ting Fung again stressed that after working with Brother Wa he learned a lot and thanked Wa Jai for all his help over the years. Ting Fung said that back then whenever he went on stage, as soon as the host said the word "Tse" he would hear jeers. In 1999, Lau Tak Wa invited him to be his concert guest performance as they sang THANK YOU FOR YOUR LOVE, the audience recognized him. He still respected and appreciated this elder very much. Wa Jai joked that when Tse Ting Fung was very little he carried him, so he should help out the younger generation.

Busy with his new film, Jackie Chan did not arrive until the end of the ceremony and was a pleasant surprise for the premiere. Working with Wa Jai 20 years later, Jackie Chan described the feeling as wonderful. They seemed to have reunited after experiencing a lot, which made it very meaningful. He even described Wa Jai and Ting Fung as absolutely a life risking pair as they set off a lot of spark. Bingbing said that she had action scene after action scene. In order to save her daughter she fought with the enemy. When she slapped Wa Jai, after the shoot she realized that her palm was all red. Only then did she realize how hard she hit, which was very memorable for her.

Shaolin Temple head abbot Shi Yongxin led the disciples and the eighteen Bronze Men of Shaolin to the event and performed authentic Shaolin kung fu. At the event the head abbot hoped that through this film the world would truly understand the authentic Shaolin martial art and Zen martial art spirit. He also donated his own calligraphy work for charity purposes. The director also said that the film will be able to spread Shaolin Temple's spirit of justice, charity and mercy. In addition six little monk even danced hip hop as Wa Jai performed his film theme song COMPREHEND in public for the first time.
