The Niu Chen-Zer directed film MONGA will soon be released in Hong Kong. The director and the cast including Ethan Ruan (Yuen King Tin), Mark Chao (Chiu Yau Ting), Ke Jia-Yan and Rhydian Vaughan (Fung Siu Ngok) yesterday appeared on Nancy Sit Ka Yin's Metro radio program. Due to Sister Ka Yin's 60th birthday on the 30th, the cast presented a cake and even sang the birthday song.

Because the film made nearly NT$300 million in Taiwan, the director thanked everyone for their support but regretted that the film very soon was pirated. Will the director make a prequel or a sequel? He expressed that so far he still has not had any plan. He would like to work with the original team again but perhaps on another story.

This film was a story about the Taiwan mob. Speaking of its difference from Hong Kong's YOUNG AND DANGEROUS (GOO WAT JAI) film series, Siu Tin blurred out something in a hurry and the reporter did not catch what he said. The director then used Hong Kong foul language to jokingly scold Siu Tin, but Siu Ting did not understand and only giggled. Earlier he repeated when he saw YOUNG AND DANGEROUS he thought Dior Cheng Yi Kin was very cool. He always wanted to make such a movie, this time after making it he realized it was another matter. In the growing process, actually many things are not possible to do as they have consequences after doing them. The director also pointed out that although both MONGA and YOUNG AND DANGEROUS were about the mob, both their cultures were different. YOUNG made people want to join the mob, but MONGA told people that they could not the mob and had very educational meaning. In addition, Chiu Yau Ting, Ke Jia-Yan and Fung Siu Ngok expressed that they have been to Hong Kong before, Siu Ngok even due to lost document had to spend one night at the Hong Kong airport.
