The Yuen Woo Ping directed TRUE LEGEND (SO HAK YI) used a lot of special effects and stunts. In the film Jay Chou (Chow Kit Lun) played a martial art god, who with the Vincent Zhao Wenzhou played So Chan had many martial art exchanges over a cliff. The scenes mixed a lot of computer generated special effects to create the duo's martial art duel fantasy and display the impact of a duel over a cliff in 3D.

For this scene, they had to perform wire work and weapon training. In order to coordinate with the post production special effect production, many scenes had to be shot in front of a green screen. Such a shoot required actors to use their imagination and be accurate with their martial art action and positions. Chow Kit Lun and Zhao Wen Zhou gave a performance that pleased director Yuen Woo Ping, in particular Chow Kit Lun who performed in his first martial art film. "He is very hard working, when he wasn't in a scene he would watch how we came up with the moves." Lord Eight said that Chairman Chou could be the martial art superstar of the new generation. "Chow Kit Lun memorizes the moves fast and comprehends quickly. He absolutely has the potential to be a martial art superstar!"
