TVB new series THE SEASON OF FATE (NG MEI YUN SUN) will premiere next Monday. Yesterday the cast including Roger Kwok Chun On, Esther Kwan Wing Ho, Michelle Yim (Mai Shuet), Ng Wai Kwok, Derek Kok Ching Hung, Vivien Yeo (Yeung Sau Wai) promoted the show.

Earlier Eric Tsang Chi Wai blasted TVB lowballing its artists who guest starred in 72 TENANTS OF PROSPERITY (72 GA JO HAT) and even claimed that some artists only received red envelopes with the words "thanks without words" on them. On Jai said, "Really? No way." He expressed that he could not make room in his schedule so he did not participate. He said, "Why not give bonus a try. No one takes any money until the film reaches profit, but I think the chance of that is slim." On Jai said that he has not been lowballed because the company has a management department that has firm pricing on a lot of jobs.

Kok Ching Hung guest starred in 72 TENTANTS OF PROSPERITY, some artist salary was lowered to only 1,000 to 2,000. Kok Ching Hung said, "Of course not! I got more than 2,000, definitely more than 2,000." Was his salary cut in half then in half again? He understood that this film had an enormous cast so he got a laisee, but it was not much less than his regular pay. He said, "It's OK to help the company." Chi Wai claimed that some artists only received red envelopes with the words "thanks without word" on them. He honestly said that he had the note but the laisee had money inside. Did he feel TVB was harsh? He said, "I feel it's OK, I don't know about the others."
