Nick Cheung Ka Fai's BEAST STALKER (JING YUN) and RED RIVER both participated in the Hawaii International Film Festival. Originally the local audience was not too familiar with him, but upon learning that he had two films in the festival their interest in him grew. After enjoying both films, their eyes opened to his acting abilities and fought to take pictures with him. GIANT ROBOT also interviewed Ka Fai.

RED RIVER director Zhang Jiarui was not only pleased that the film's story deeply touched the audience's emotions despite the language barrier, but also felt that was due to Ka Fai's excellent acting. Ka Fai felt very honored that the jury and the audience recognized his acting and responded greatly to BEAST STALKER. On a rare visit to Hawaii, he took the time to visit local landmark Pearl Harbor. He even made a mischievous pose of taking aim, fully showing his funny side.
